As you are probably aware, our show scheduled for yesterday, with Frank Gorka didn’t happen. It wasn’t technology gremlins, this time, but instead the weather. Luckily, Frank was just delayed because of the ice on roadways, not due to an accident. However, we are rescheduling for another date. Search Engine Optimization is a topic that can make or break your business and we want to get the information out to you.

This time of year, you have to expect that from time to time. And if you are in one of the areas heavily hit by the most recent winter storms, be careful if you are going out. Make sure that you have taken necessary measures in case you can’t get out or you loose power at your home. You know, extra groceries, flashlight batteries, a backup heating system, stuff like that!

My Mother asked me, “What are you going to do if the power goes out, you’ll freeze!” (She’s just turned 73 in January and worries too much.) I said, “Mama, I’ve lived in the woods for over 25 years, firewood is not an issue. But, that’s a Mom for you!

Now, one of the best ways to generate subs to your email list is through giveaway events. You can take a Resale Rights or Private Label Rights product, make the necessary changes and offer it for free to visitors of the event. When people see your product and want to download it, they first go to you optin page for the product. Once they’ve opted in and confirmed, they get your valuable free gift, your list has grown and you can then take them into your online family.

One of the largest events, so far this year, is the EZ-IM Giveaway that runs till February 19. Right now there are over 450 gifts available for you to download. So, if you find yourself in need of marketing information, software, graphics, Resale Rights or Private Label Rights products, you will likely find what you are looking for there. Our expert guest speaker for today’s segment is Doug Champigny. As you may recall, Doug  joined us earlier this month to share his insights on Affiliate Marketing and has agreed to return today to share his expertise as a ‘Master of Private Label Rights.’

Doug has over 25 years of marketing & advertising experience ranging from Daily newspapers to full-service advertising agencies, 18 years of it in senior management positions including 12 years as owner of his own Internet marketing, design & SEO company have led him to the unique qualification as an expert on both the marketing and technical aspects of Internet Marketing and online promotion.

Current duties include co-management of over 120 websites, running 9 blogs, publishing a daily e-zine to over 35,000 Internet marketers worldwide, while authoring e-books, audios and videos teaching Internet marketers to increase their online profits, grow their Internet businesses and brand themselves worldwide.

Recently a speaker at the Internet Marketing Seminar in Sandusky, Ohio and the Internet Marketing SuperConference in Las Vegas. And most recently at the Internet Super Stars Conference held in Orlando.

Doug first explained the differences in ‘Rights’ products. There are basically three types, Resell Rights(RR), Master Resell Rights(MRR) and Private Label Rights(PLR). Citing PLR as being the most powerful for us as marketers. It is important to note here that with any ‘Rights’ product that it is important to read the License Agreement that accompanies these products to be sure that you do not find yourself in violation of the terms of the agreement.

Doug shared some excellent insight son how PLR products can be used and repurposed to create unique products and content including, audio, video, podcasts, and content for blogs and websites. Also, how you might combine multiple PLR products into a single, more valuable product or even an eCourse to offer your subscribers over time.

Doug has a set of video tutorials that details the conversion of a PLR product, step by step, and is an excellent resource for you if you are having difficulties or just have no idea what to do with all that PLR material occupying space on your computer.

We also touched on Doug’s new coaching program, PowerStart 2010, which he introduced at the Internet Super Stars Conference. This is a 1month coaching program designed to take you from zero to a working online business. And the program assumes no experience level. What I mean here is that if you can turn on your computer and check your email, everything else you need to know is in the program. So, don’t be put off thinking that you need some special skills up front. You can do this!

That said, I feel that it is important to note that Doug has done private coaching for many years, but has decided to go public with this program to help anyone that is just wanting to start an online business and wants to do it right and those who may be having trouble moving their current business forward.

Our guest expert for today’s segment was Doug Champigny. Doug was a veteran of marketing and advertising even before coming online full time in 1997. Doug is a full time Internet Marketer, Affiliate Marketer, mentor, speaker and an expert at creating wealth and helping others do the same.

Doug shared some excellent insights with us about beginning steps for someone either just entering into an online business or someone with a business that just can’t seem to pull it together.

Some of the things that we talked about were steps to picking a niche to market to. Consider something that you enjoy and have fun with. You could hardly expect to do your best with something that you don’t particularly like.

Affiliate marketing is about the least expensive start up of most online business opportunities. It provides you, the affiliate, with the opportunity to build a business selling products. But, you are doing it without the responsibilities of customer service, warehousing and the shipment of products.

And we talked about the important difference between having a business and that of having a sustainable business. A business that will continue to work, even if you decide to take a few weeks off.

In the area of product creation, Doug suggests 1) PLR products that you sell as is, and 2) PLR products that you convert to your own. He stresses though, that you must first have a laser focus on list building and traffic generation, then the product creation.

We talked about Doug’s “No Net Cost” theory in the purchasing of products and services for your business. When you consider a product or service, look for one that has Private Label Rights that allow you resell the product, something like software. Or something that has an affiliate program, like hosting and autoresponders.

Then you have the best tool basically at “No Net Cost”, since it pays for itself.

When you are creating a product from a PLR to sell as your own, there are several things that you will need to do. Including, changing book covers, sales pages and content, to make them your own. Doug has an excellent set of PLR Video Tutorials that takes you through this process easily.

Now for the big one! Doug is a mentor and business coach. But, this has traditionally been basically by invitation to someone who has shown ability, but needs direction.

Well, he has decided to go public with a 4-week intensive training course that begins February 1^st. This course will take you step-by-step from zero to a real working business in one month. It’s called the PowerStart 2010 Coaching Course.

Registration for the February course is until January 25^th. Then, on the 26^th, registration begins for the March course. Along with that will come a $200 increase in your tuition. He has not put a limit on the number of people who can get in, only the registration period.

There simply is no other course like this available. I’ll be there, myself, I hope that you are also.

And speaking of ‘there’, Doug is on his way to be a presenter at Mark Hendricks’ Internet Super Stars Conference in Orlando. You can still register for that until tomorrow night.
