As you may know from my previous posts and Blog Talk Radio Show recordings, February was the launch of Doug Champigny’s PowerStart 2010 Internet Marketing Coaching Program, of which, I was privileged to be student.

To give you a little background on Doug, he is a 25 year marketing and and advertising expert. A business consultant, super affiliate, joint venture expert, author, speaker, an excellent instructor and a heck of a nice guy.

Now, I want to reinforce for you that this coaching program was not just another Internet Marketing ‘thing’. Obviously, given the current economic conditions, many people are turning to the Internet as a means to supplement their income or, as in many cases, create an income to support themselves and their families.

The problem is that there is just too much bad or incomplete information available to newcomers to our industry and Doug created this program and set it at a price point to get these folks going, without all the none sense.

As well as helping those who have already begun online to move forward confidently by teaching them the skills and providing resources to move their business forward.

Oh look! There’s a pop-up, with a question mark! Yes! You are wondering what we have done this past month. Well, fasten your seatbelts!

The first week we did keyword research to identify a niche, bought a domain name for it, set up our hosting, installed WordPress blog platform(from scratch, not thru Fantastico), installed a theme, added the plugins, connected the blog to social media sites, wrote articles, posted to our new blog, created a report from these articles, created and uploaded our squeeze page and set up our autoresponder.

Week two, he took it easy on us(yeah, right!), all we did was generate two products to sell, prepare the squeeze, thank you and download pages, upload to our hosting and put it all online.

Week three, we wrote more articles and submitted them to directories, learned to set up pod casts for our blogs and submit to directories. Learned how to create video and submit to directories. BTW, all of this is done using free tools. How cool is that!?

Week four was affiliate products, adding them to our blogs(in the coding, not widgets) and setting up redirects.

Can you feel the burn? All of this is done with step by step videos, audio, and a lot of patience and hand holding from Doug, which he is very good at.

Doug is an excellent taskmaster. Always there to answer questions and provide support. He doesn’t hold a gun to your head and that’s a good thing because, if he did, I would have some flow through ventilation going on right now.

So, there really only remains two questions:

1) What did you do last month? and

2) What are you going to do this month?

Yes, I very highly recommend Doug’s PowerStart 2010 Coaching Program. Whether you are just getting started or having trouble moving forward with your business.

You not only get all of this excellent training, you also meet some really cool people in the program. And when you are there, in the program, and wondering who you might do a joint venture or network with? Just look around at the other members.

Opportunity is constantly knocking. All you have to do is open the door!

Thanks for your time!

As always, at your service,

Jim

As you are probably aware, our show scheduled for yesterday, with Frank Gorka didn’t happen. It wasn’t technology gremlins, this time, but instead the weather. Luckily, Frank was just delayed because of the ice on roadways, not due to an accident. However, we are rescheduling for another date. Search Engine Optimization is a topic that can make or break your business and we want to get the information out to you.

This time of year, you have to expect that from time to time. And if you are in one of the areas heavily hit by the most recent winter storms, be careful if you are going out. Make sure that you have taken necessary measures in case you can’t get out or you loose power at your home. You know, extra groceries, flashlight batteries, a backup heating system, stuff like that!

My Mother asked me, “What are you going to do if the power goes out, you’ll freeze!” (She’s just turned 73 in January and worries too much.) I said, “Mama, I’ve lived in the woods for over 25 years, firewood is not an issue. But, that’s a Mom for you!

Now, one of the best ways to generate subs to your email list is through giveaway events. You can take a Resale Rights or Private Label Rights product, make the necessary changes and offer it for free to visitors of the event. When people see your product and want to download it, they first go to you optin page for the product. Once they’ve opted in and confirmed, they get your valuable free gift, your list has grown and you can then take them into your online family.

One of the largest events, so far this year, is the EZ-IM Giveaway that runs till February 19. Right now there are over 450 gifts available for you to download. So, if you find yourself in need of marketing information, software, graphics, Resale Rights or Private Label Rights products, you will likely find what you are looking for there. If not, let me know and I’ll check my resources for you an see what we can come up with.

Also, there are still some slots open for Jason Anderson’s iFlash Monthly membership. And to be honest, I supposed that the membership would be filled by now. Actually, that’s a presumption, since I haven’t spoken to Jason since we did the call, so I am not sure that it hasn’t filled already. But, for your sake, I hope not. You will be very impressed with what is being offered in the membership. High quality custom professional video does not come cheap. And you would be hard pressed to find a better deal.

Doug Champigny’s PowerStart 2010 coaching program is in full swing. I am in the program myself and I can tell you that there are two things you need to do. Make sure the dogs are fed, and be prepared to loose a lot of sleep! I’m thinking of putting a 55 gallon drum of coffee beside my desk and running a hose to it. Zero to business in thirty days means that you will get as much work done in thirty days as many online business owners do in a year. Doug is still accepting students for the March class. Are you there yet?

One of, if not the, most important part of your online business is your web hosting. It is not pretty to type your url into the browser and have it respond, “Page Not Found”. Not to worry, I have a solution for you, NetProSoft. Just a few of the features include, hosting unlimited domains, your autoresponder account, affiliate module, membership site module and outstanding customer support. It’s all built in and what’s more, it works! You get all that and more for probably less than you would pay for an individual hosting account and autoresponder.

Well, that should keep you busy for a while. And speaking of that, I’d better get busy. Doug will be cracking the whip!

Again, I apologize for any inconvenience for the missed show. However, we are rescheduling. Just check back here for the update.

Thanks again for your time. Remember, Massive Action brings Massive Results!

Till next time!

Our guest speaker for this episode is Rob Anderson. Rob is the Founder and acting CEO of Cagora and the company behind it called Community Enabler.

Cagora is a ‘Family Friendly’, Community and Business oriented alternative to the traditional Social Networks.

Rob really went in depth in explaining to us what Cagora is now, how it benefits the Community at large, and even a taste of what Cagora has coming in the future.

Cagora is, as Forrester Research puts it, the next generation in Social Networking. Rob cited that although Cagora retains some of the characteristics and features of the traditional social media sites. Cagora offers significantly more not only for the individual, but for the community or communities surrounding them.

As Rob explains it, say that you have a special interest in rock climbing. At Cagora, you have the opportunity to enter that particular special interest group to share experiences, your favorite places to climb or the type of equipment that you use. Not only that, if you prefer, you can start your own group and invite your friends that you already share this interest with.

This is very valuable from the business point of view since this is the perfect venue to get feedback from these groups on products and services, as well as word of mouth advertising.

Cagora also offers solutions for local businesses to attain a web presence and become interactive with members of the local community, many of whom may already be their customers. And Cagora, through their business solutions, gives local businesses the opportunity to market their products and services to the online community as well as locally.

According to Rob, Cagora also provides solutions for non profit organizations and even local Chambers of Commerce.

And again, this is a family friendly environment. I invite you to see for yourself the many benefits of a ‘Community Marketplace‘.

Rob cited as examples of the trend by major brands toward the ‘Community Marketplace’, the recent absence of Pepsi advertising during the Super Bowl, the 50th birthday of Barbie last year, and the creation of community groups to market Lego products. You will be seeing a great deal more of this in the near future.

In Cagora, you will also find opportunity as an Affiliate to leverage the growing, and scarcely serviced niche, of offline local business promotion.

As always, thank you for your time. Be sure to check back here regularly for show updates and reviews. I appreciate your being here and your feedback.

Until next time. Be well!

Our guest speaker for this episode was Jason Anderson. Jason is President and Co-Founder of iFlash Video…a custom video production company for small business and independent marketing professionals.

Jason really gave us the heads up on what they have going on at iFlash Video. They offer Custom Professional Video services created in studio grade facilities on studio grade equipment with custom music, images and voice overs.

Jason explained the process basically this way, when you become a customer, you are provided a ‘copy sheet’ that you fill this out with the text inside a box. The copy you fit inside the box amounts to about one minute. Then you add any photos and special features that you want included and upload your submission.

Jason gave us several examples of how the videos can customized to your specific needs. Basic, just about any way you like. And, possibly, in ways that you may not even have thought of.

So, here’s what’s going on now. between February 16th and 19th, they are trying something new. They have decided to create a program called “iFlash Monthly“. This is a membership type program that you will pay an up front fee with a monthly subscription, which is less than fifty dollars per month. That will get you one professionally produced, custom video per month.

If you are reading this after February 19th, don’t loose heart. Follow the link over to the site and get on the waiting list. Remember, just like every other membership site, people will fall out of the program. So, if you are on the list, you could be notified of the available space.

Jason also made it clear that by signing up to their newsletter, you will receive on ads from them, not the normal marketing that you might think. Jason did say that the newsletter will often include discounts to current services, from time to time.

Like I said, the open enrollment will end on the 19th or when 500 people have signed up. Obviously, at the price point this membership is going for, they could very well sell out before they go public with the program.

So, now, go on over to iFlash Video and secure your position. You will be very glad that you did. Even at the normal rate, you would be hard put to find a service that provides this type of quality.

Remember, come back regularly to check for updates for upcoming shows.

Thanks for your time. Take massive action and produce massive results!
